The Good Stuff

In addition to our (quite boring) links page, we wanted a space to tell you a little bit about what we love. Whether it be the charities we support or the organisations we're involved with - this is where you'll get a bit of insight into The Bigger Picture and what we're all about!

Business Network InternationalBNI - Business Network International
Bigger Picture Director, Angela Carrington was proud to be appointed a regional Ambassador for BNI in Northumbria in 2010. Passionate about word-of-mouth networking in our region, Angela can often be seen at various events either presenting short talks on various techniques of efficient networking skills - or simply networking amongst the business community itself.  BNI is the most successful networking organisation in the world and we're very proud to be involved with it.

The Mussel Club
The ethos to The Mussel Business Club is 'putting a face to social networking'. Here at The Bigger Picture we like to think that we play an important part of this process across the north east region. As sponsors of The Mussel Club web gallery, we attend most of the events from North Tyneside to Darlington in the south of the region and photograph attendees whilst open networking. We like to approach this in a fun and casual style, reflecting the style of The Mussel Club itself. Events are always a great way to meet new faces and connect in a less formal style with other entrepeneurs and business managers in the region.

The Calvert Trust - Kielder
Over the past two and a half years, we have been actively supporting this fantastic charity through our work. The Calvert Trust always strive to be 'Challenging Disability Through Outdoor Adventure' from their base in Kielder. We cover their events photographically and are proud to be on their fundraising committee for the second year running. We have also carried out press photography for them with their gold corporate sponsors. Click on their logo to find out more.

The Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund
We have recently started to support this specialist fund in the North East of England that aims to enhance the lives of local disabled children and their families through the provision of essential equipment, learning aids and custom built apparatus. The charity is unique in its bond with the Evening Chronicle, the region's biggest selling daily newspaper and enjoys a special place in the hearts of the paper's readers. The Sunshine Fund was established in 1928 by King George V during his visit to Tyneside.

The Gunner's Den
After a long days work being creative, Angela likes to relax and fitness-train by hitting punchbags really hard with specialist Mixed Martial Arts star Paul Colesby. Located in Westerhope, Newcastle - his purpose-built MMA studio is the place to be to get fit and learn some kick-ass techniques!

If you would like to join the thousands of crazy people following Angela on Twitter you can do so by finding us at @ThisistheBigPic - be warned, she sometimes tweets after a few glasses of wine! It will however give you a great insight into the work of The Bigger Picture and you can follow our day to day exploits and interact as much as you like!
